CHARACTERISTICS
• Low fume levels with virtually no spatter
• Good CVN toughness at sub-zero temperatures
• Not to be used with 100% CO 2
ProStar FC-71 Supreme wire combines superior welding
performance with outstanding mechanical properties.
It has exceptional operator appeal with superb physical
properties, an arc that is soft and stable, and low fume
levels with virtually no spatter. Even in the vertical “up"
ProStar FC-71 Supreme wire produces position, welds produced with ProStar FC-71 Supreme
virtually no spatter and delivers a flat wire will have a flat bead profile. This wire is designed for
bead profile in all positions single- and multiple-pass welding in all positions, using
a shielding gas of 75 – 85% Ar/15 – 25% CO 2. Typical
applications include shipbuilding, offshore structures and
general fabrication where high-impact properties, ease of
operation, and high productivity are required.
