Barrett-Jackson is revving up for the automotive event of 2022 when it returns to WestWorld of Scottsdale, January 22-30, to celebrate 50 years of The World’s Greatest Collector Car Auctions. January’s Scottsdale Auction will both celebrate those milestones and deliver an “action-packed” automotive lifestyle event filled with a collector car docket, the latest vehicles from top automakers, symposiums on a variety of automotive-related topics and hundreds of exhibits and displays.
In addition to the millions watching the events via live television coverage on FYI and HISTORY, over 500,000 people are estimated to be in attendance. Even if you’re not a car enthusiast, there is plenty to do and see at the Exhibitor Marketplace -- from automotive art and aftermarket products to luxury handbags and jewelry, live music, food vendors, home and garden furnishings and décor.
In addition to the classic cars, you can visit Linde’s showcase of innovative products and technologies at Booth #SL30. Among this showcase is the PROSTAR™ LANCER™ COBOT welding system, designed to take robotic welding to the next level. Made for low-volume, high-mix operations to help operators reduce time and costs, the LANCER COBOT (COllaborative RoBOT) welding system makes welding automation affordable and accessible. With a 48-by-48-inch workspace, 5/8-inch peg tooling compatibility, 500-amp BINZEL® air-cooled welding torch, MILLER ELECTRIC™ and LINCOLN ELECTRIC™ MIG welding machine compatibility, built-in water cutting table and ready integration for HYPERTHERM® POWERMAX® cutting systems, Linde’s COBOT system is ready to help you improve the productivity of your repetitive processes.
Also being featured at this year’s automotive event is the PROSTAR™ LANCER™ PRS4 cutting system, an affordable solution for the steel processing needs of light fabricators, job shops, HVAC, artists and hobbyists. With minimal setup requirements and effective cut dimensions of 4’ × 4’, LANCER PRS4 CNC cutting systems provide the ability to efficiently process carbon steel and stainless steel plate while being easy to move and deploy as facility needs evolve. These machines also feature full support for HYPERTHERM® plasma systems, and FLASHCUT™ CNC controllers for fast cutting speeds, optimal nesting, high cut quality and ease of use.
Our Linde representatives will also be exhibiting IPG Photonic’s LIGHTWELD™ 1500 welding system, a new handheld laser welding system designed to enable faster welding, easier operation and consistent results across a range of materials and thicknesses without distortion, deformation, undercut or burn-through, when compared to traditional MIG and TIG welders. Simple controls allow novice welders to be trained in a matter of hours, while experienced users can benefit from the faster and more flexible processing capabilities.
