Building on the success of our Linde ProStar Portable, we introduce the ProStar portable “lite” fume collector. Our original unit was built with the full-time welder in mind. The intent was to deliver a unit that could handle the rigors of continuous operation. We accomplished that goal.

new ProStar portable “lite” fume collector is a lower cost, entry-level machine for manufacturers. These portable units feature two disposable filter options. The “80/20” MERV 11 filter has 226 square feet of fire retardant media
while the “Nano-Fiber” MERV 15 filter has 200 square feet of FR Media. The filter replacement costs are low in keeping with our entry-level pricing. They are suitable for use while welding on aluminum, galvanized and carbon Steels.
ProStar portable “lite” fume collectors provide a basic-feature set. A 1HP sealed bearing (brushless) induction motor with a backward inclined blower wheel is rated for 100% duty with a 50,000-hour life cycle. It will produce 875 cfm
of airflow at the end of the fume arm with 4 inches of static pressure.
The fume arm is pre-assembled enabling set up in under ten minutes. Two fume arm length options are available in either 7-feet or 10-feet lengths with a 6-inch diameter.
A circuit breaker protects the motor and all circuitry. The ProStar portable “lite” fume collectors are constructed of 11- and 14-gauge carbon steel with a powder coated finish for durability. All units are made in the U.S.A.
