A variable area flow meter is a device used for measuring the flow of gases or gas mixtures. When choosing a flow meter, consider the device’s material construction, pressure and temperature ratings, measuring range, and accuracy so you can choose the best meter for your gas.
150MM Flow Meters
Series 150 flow meters offer an accurate yet economical means of measuring gas or liquid flow at low pressures and over a wide range of flow rates. Suitable for both plant and laboratory use, they are widely used in gas chromatography, atomic absorption spectroscopy and process control.
High Capacity Flow Meters
Our Series 50HC flow meters offer a means of measuring gas or liquid flows at capacities up to 15scfm of air, much higher than our other variable area flow meters, and are suitable for both plant and lab use.
Variable Area Flow Meters
Our plastic, variable area Series 50PM flow meters provide an economical means for low flow measurement and control of noncorrosive liquids and gases.
This flow meter is constructed of polycarbonate plastic. Make sure the gas you are using is compatible with this material to avoid injury to personnel and damage to equipment.
65MM, Variable Are Flow Meters
Our Series 65 flow meters offer a cost-effective way to measure gas or liquid flow at low pressures where ± 10% accuracy is acceptable. They are suitable for plant and general lab applications. See the data sheet for approximate flow ranges for air and other gases.
