The Sentry system utilizes barcode and scanning technology to automate the tracking and management of cylinders, cylinder clusters and liquid cylinders through production, delivery, cylinder use and return. This helps ensure accurate cylinder balances, deliveries and billing, as compared to traditional paper based systems. Cylinders are tracked by serial number so that traceability is not lost even if a barcode is removed from an asset.
