Additionally, manual cutting processes generally require significant grinding and processing to make parts weld-ready.

Three-Ton, High-Accuracy Pipe Cutter

Linde’s ProStar™ PIPER 3T is a well-standardized pipe-cutting machine that makes use of a three-jaw chuck to clamp and rotate the pipe during cutting. The self-centering chuck provides high-accuracy cutting with a securely clamped pipe that won’t slip or creep during rotation. The adjustable pipe supports and helps level pipe diameters from 2 inches up to 24 inches and can be processed in a wide range of lengths and profile shapes. This system can drastically improve productivity over manual cutting and processes to help you get more done in less time, more accurately and with less clean up and grinding.

Vibration-Free, Precise Pipe Rotation

Linde's ProStar PIPERPRO is designed to provide your shop the benefits of two types of pipe cutters, combining a chuck for precision pipe rotation with a roller-bed conveyor for high-production volume. Pipe diameters up to 48 inches and 13 tons can be processed in a variety of lengths and profile shapes. With its ability to handle multiple pipe characteristics, sizes and weight capacities, this machine is capable of meeting most part specifications. 

The ProStar PIPERPRO (PRSPRO12RB) provides rapid, synchronized material loading and unloading. Additionally, a patented biaxial cutting head can be used to cut both oxyfuel and plasma. Furthermore, the three-jaw chuck comes standard to ensure precise pipe rotation during the cutting process. The roller bed with tandem wheels provides pipe support and prevents vibration during cutting.
