At Linde Gas & Equipment, we believe that giving back to the community is not just our responsibility—it is our privilege. The Mid-Atlantic team’s recent and upcoming initiatives, including charity BBQs, pet-supply drives, a BINGO night and a comedy show, demonstrate our commitment to supporting those in need and fostering a sense of unity and purpose among our employees and partners.

Charity BBQs: Nourishing Our Communities

This summer, we hosted a series of charity BBQs to support various food banks and organizations dedicated to fighting hunger, including Feeding America, Second Harvest, Philabundance and many others! These events were more than just opportunities to enjoy good food and company; they also gave LG&E employees a chance to make a tangible impact on the lives of those struggling with food insecurity.

The impact:

→ Feeding America: As one of the country’s largest hunger-relief organizations, Feed America relies on support from community partners to distribute millions of meals to families in need. Our BBQ events helped raise awareness—and funds—for their crucial mission.

→ Second Harvest: By partnering with Second Harvest, we contributed to their efforts to acquire food that would otherwise go to waste and distribute it to those in need. Our donations helped stock shelves and fill plates in communities across the nation.

→ Philabundance: Serving the Delaware Valley region, Philabundance plays a vital role in providing emergency food assistance. Our charity BBQs supported their initiatives to reach vulnerable populations and help ensure that no one goes hungry.

Pet Supply Drive: Supporting Our Furry Friends

In addition to addressing human hunger, our teams in Newark, Fairless Hills, and Bethlehem organized successful drives to collect much-needed pet supplies for the local animal humane society. Pets bring immense joy and companionship to our lives, and supporting their well-being is a cause close to our hearts.

→ Blankets and bedding

→ Toys and enrichment products

→ Cleaning supplies and grooming tools

These donations help ensure that animals waiting for their forever homes receive the care and comfort they deserve.
